American Cancer Society – Relay for Life
posted by: Timm in Events, Family on May 9th, 2009 |

One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime.  The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people across the country each year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.  Check out my mom’s blog for more about the Relay for Life in Southshore, Florida.

Here we are in the Cancer Survivor’s tent: me, Heather, Laura, Hazel, with Ryan in front saying, “I should’ve had a V8!”  My mom Hazel has been a cancer survivor for 11+ years!
