Lisa, Steven and Amanda road-tripped from Michigan to Kentucky to visit Theresa and me this weekend. It was so much fun to see them! We went hiking in the Adair Wildlife Management Area. We drove to Big Bone Church, parked in the adjacent Adair lot and started our hike.
As you may know, my dad had a blog at Dead-Man-Walking.com before he passed away in April. He only had a few months of decent health to write in his blog before his COPD made it impossible for him to use the computer. So I’ve decided to move his blog to a new memorial website [...]
We had a fun party on July 3rd. There was a yummy cookout, good fireworks, and great friends. If you climb onto the porch swing, you can be sure that Shadow will try to join you! Here Shadow enjoys a nice doggie sandwich between Di and Zadee.
My uncle Mike and aunt Jeanne hiked with us at our neighbor’s beautiful Big Bone Gardens. Mike and Jeanne are standing by a cute lily pond. Mike was nice to give Theresa his walking stick, which was hand-carved by a friend. You can check out Mike’s new hiking blog at Big-Canoe-Hiker.com.
