We hiked up to the cliffs below Little Wolf Peak in early March.  Though it was nearly 60 degrees outside, there were still a couple inches of snow on the ground and massive ice formations on the cliffs.

Hiking in Big Canoe, Georgia

Lisa, Steven and Amanda road-tripped from Michigan to Kentucky to visit Theresa and me this weekend.  It was so much fun to see them!

We went hiking in the Adair Wildlife Management Area.  We drove to Big Bone Church, parked in the adjacent Adair lot and started our hike.

We hiked to Adair Wildlife Management area again on this beautiful September day.

Here is a semi-rare photo of Timm, who’s watching a bunch of turkey vultures floating on the breeze above.  It’s “semi-rare” because Timm is usually behind the camera.

We went on a fun hike to the Adair Wildlife Management Area.  It is a 635-acre preserve in Boone County, Kentucky, with wooded and open rolling land.

And it starts with a hike right out our back door down our Gum Branch Trail.  What a treat to be able enjoy such a beautiful hike without [...]

My uncle Mike and aunt Jeanne hiked with us at our neighbor’s beautiful Big Bone Gardens.

Mike and Jeanne are standing by a cute lily pond.  Mike was nice to give Theresa his walking stick, which was hand-carved by a friend.  You can check out Mike’s new hiking blog at Big-Canoe-Hiker.com.
