It was great to celebrate Halloween 2011 with our good friends and family.  Thanks to everyone who made this one of our best Halloween parties ever!

There were many scary faces in our annual Halloween party “Scary Face Contest.”  And the winners are:   Marcia (left) and Stacy claim the top prizes with the scariest faces!

It’s time for the annual Spring Egg Hunt at Tower Park in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky! This is the first year we’ve attended.  Though there were thousands of colored eggs on the ground, residents informed us that the recession caused a huge cutback in the number of eggs this year.

We had a traditional Christmas turkey dinner with all the trimmings.  It was good food and great fun with family and friends. These overhead shots were provided by the Goodyear blimp.

We were driving down the driveway to go buy a Christmas tree at the local farmer’s market, when we noticed a beautiful cedar right in our yard.  We have hundreds of cedars in our forest, but it’s unusual to find one that’s of suitable shape, size and fullness for a Christmas tree.  So we decided [...]

We had a fun party on July 3rd.  There was a yummy cookout, good fireworks, and great friends. If you climb onto the porch swing, you can be sure that Shadow will try to join you!  Here Shadow enjoys a nice doggie sandwich between Di and Zadee.
