Check out the photo tour from our brief vacation in Everglades National Park in south Florida. I used to live in Florida and frequently saw alligators in nearby ponds, but I’ve never seen this many alligators, often within striking distance. Fortunately we escaped with all our limbs intact.

The park is quiet, uncrowded and massive, with over 800,000 acres of remote desert and mountains in south Texas. The Rio Grande River defines the southern border of the park and the United States international border with Mexico.
