It’s time for the annual Spring Egg Hunt at Tower Park in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky! This is the first year we’ve attended.  Though there were thousands of colored eggs on the ground, residents informed us that the recession caused a huge cutback in the number of eggs this year.

We woke up to an inch of snow Saturday morning, so we went for a long hike out back.  Good thing we got out early because most of the snow had melted by noon. Theresa and Shadow can’t help but smile while hiking through the pretty snow.

The adventures of Darby and Shadow continue!  Watch as Darby tries to hop through the deep snow in our back yard.  That “little wood bone” you see sticking up from the snow when Darby first stops is the grave marker from our last dog, Peanut.

Check out this video of Theresa testing her new Mossberg 20-gauge pump-action shotgun.  Theresa practiced killing zombies for when the bio-engineered plague infects humankind in the 2012 Apocalypse.    She’s a crack shot and went 5-for-5.  We decided to kill our old water heater at Little Wolf… that’ll teach it not to work!
