I was stung by a wasp yesterday on the knuckle of my middle finger. I’m allergic to stings in a “make your hand fat” kind of way, but fortunately not in a “plunge into anaphylactic shock and die” kind of way. This is how my hand looked 24 hours later after plenty of ibuprofen and ice. I can still barely bend my fingers, which makes it challenging to type. What’s weird is my hand is super-hot to the touch. I think it was Conway Twitty who wrote the famous song, “You want a man with a fat hand” or something like that.
