Jabba the Toad disappeared after we had been gone on vacation for a week. We thought that maybe she left the porch because her canine protectors weren’t guarding her.
A few days after we returned, so did Jabba. But then she disappeared again, this time for good.
This is the last known photo of Jabba the Toad.
A few nights later, two smaller toads moved in. Though they enjoy her nightly bug buffet, neither toad has claimed Jabba’s old cotton-lined house.
Oh no, say it isn’t so!! You said you thought she was female. Maybe she left to have her little toads in private. Then told them your place was home, has great food and wonderful furry protectors. I hope she comes back, she is the coolest big frog I’ve ever seen. I was looking forward to meeting her!
