Chicago is a fun place to visit, but a terrible place to pass through. It took us four hours to travel through the city. We hit south Chicago at 1pm on a Friday, but the traffic had already slowed to a crawl.
Here you can see the Sears Tower from I-94 North.
The immense building was in our view for nearly three hours.
This tank would have really come in handy in Chicago! Traffic jams would not be a problem. We stopped off the highway in Racine, Wisconsin (I think) to switch drivers, and we just happened to pull into the American Legion parking lot where this tank was standing guard. How cool!
