Theresa is visiting Bangalore, India for a business trip.  Here are some of the first photos she took from her sight-seeing trip on Saturday.

Mysore Palace

This is the Mysore Palace.  According to WikiTravel, the Mysore Palace has “intricately carved rosewood doors and ceilings some with inlaid ivory work, marble figurines, collections of caskets, paintings of the members of the royal family and other objects of personal use exhibit such opulence.”

Another photo of the Mysore Palace.  “The city has recorded history dating back a thousand years and a mythical history which explains the origin of the name — apparently, this was the place where the demon Mahishasura was slain by the Goddess Chamundi.”

Leela Hotel

This is the Leela, a 5-star hotel where Theresa is staying.  Theresa said the hotel and its grounds are beautiful.

  1. Beautiful! The intricate features on the palace are amazing. I don’t think there are many artisans now a days who can pull that off. Keep us updated!
