Northern Kentucky is suffering through its third drought in five years. The general weather pattern seems to have changed recently. This area is usually quite moist year-round with at least 2” rain per month.

The grass is mostly brown, the plants are stressed, and some of the trees are starting to change colors and lose their leaves.

The grass is definitely greener on the other side of … everywhere!

Looks like FL last summer. Waiting on the offical SCC newsletter but pretty sure we got 20+ inches last month. Everything is green and blooming, just beautiful!
It is amazing what happens when there is cooler than normal water in the Pacific Ocean. The world is a very complex system.
